Have You Ever Read A Digital Apology, A Digital Apology....
(with apologies to the Lovely Eggs)

It was only brought to our notice recently that Flaming Tunes had been made available as a digital download by our distributor ReR since its release in May 2009. This was done without our knowledge and authorisation.

We released Flaming Tunes for commemorative reasons, as well as for its own intrinsic value, and because of that we were very careful to make a quality production in terms of audio, artwork and keeping as a whole the only collection of music that Gareth intended for release. Had we decided to release a digital edition it would have been presented in that way, and we feel we owe an apology to those of you who may have purchased the download, to Flaming Tunes musicians and collaborators and to the memory of Gareth Williams.

Leo O'kelly's 'Will' CD cover

Leo O'Kelly, founder member of the legendary Tir na nOg, has released his third solo album, 'Will' on Life And Living Records. In a departure from his first two solo albums, Glare and Proto, Leo has collaborated with John McKeown, a Liverpool poet who now lives in Dublin, to produce 11 songs whose theme is one of obsession, and dark desire. There is an otherworldly atmosphere manifest in these, often beautiful, love songs. You can hear excerpts here.

Tir na nOg Sirius
LALR also have Tir na nOg's live album, 'Sirius', available. Recorded at Sirius Arts, Cobh, it features Leo O'Kelly and Sonny Condell performing 16 songs. Take a listen here.
